Identity Document Verification
Every candidate undergoes identity verification before being considered for placement. This involves:
- Cross-checking the national ID or passport against government databases or through accredited verification partners
- Confirming that the name, date of birth, and ID number are consistent across all submitted documents
- Flagging any discrepancies or anomalies for further investigation before proceeding
Reference Verification
References are only valuable if they are genuine. Our reference verification process includes:
- Contact Confirmation — We independently look up and contact the reference’s organisation rather than relying solely on contact details supplied by the candidate.
- Structured Questioning — References are asked specific, structured questions about the candidate’s role, performance, conduct, and reliability.
- Flagging Inconsistencies — Any mismatch between what the candidate claimed and what the reference reports is escalated and resolved before an offer is made.
Qualification and Certification Verification
Academic and professional qualifications are verified directly with the issuing institution wherever possible. For recognised professional bodies (engineering councils, nursing boards, accountancy institutes, and similar), we confirm current registration status as well as original certification.
Where an institution cannot be contacted directly, Bestcare uses accredited third-party qualification verification services to authenticate documents.
