An official response from Bestcare Manpower Services
Terminating an outsourced worker’s assignment — whether due to end of contract, redundancy, performance issues, or business change — must be managed with the same legal rigour and professional courtesy that any employment ending deserves. Bestcare Manpower Services follows a clear, structured termination process that protects all parties involved.
Types of Assignment Termination
End of Fixed-Term Contract If the outsourcing arrangement was for a defined period, the assignment naturally concludes at the contract end date. Bestcare sends advance notice to both the client and the employee, manages the exit process, and ensures all final entitlements are calculated and paid.
Client-Initiated Early Termination If a client wishes to end an assignment before the contracted term, they must submit formal notice to Bestcare in accordance with the notice period specified in the outsourcing agreement. Costs associated with early termination may apply depending on the contract terms.
Performance or Conduct-Based Termination Terminations arising from disciplinary processes follow the full investigation and fair hearing procedure described in our disciplinary policy. The employee is given the opportunity to respond to all allegations before a termination decision is made.
Redundancy Where the role is no longer required — due to restructuring, cost reduction, or technology adoption — Bestcare manages the redundancy process in compliance with the Employment Act, including calculation of redundancy pay where applicable.
The Termination Process Steps
The process includes formal notification to the employee with the specified notice period, calculation of all final dues including salary, leave payout, and outstanding allowances, processing of final payroll, issuance of a certificate of service, revocation of site access and return of client property, and completion of exit documentation with the client.
“Every assignment ending — however it comes about — deserves to be handled with dignity. We close each engagement properly, so the employee leaves with their dues paid, their records in order, and their experience respected.”
