An official response from Bestcare Manpower Services
Outsourced employees are just as capable of disengagement — and just as worthy of being heard — as any permanently employed worker. At Bestcare Manpower Services, gathering employee feedback is not a formality. It is a core part of how we manage the quality of our placements and the wellbeing of our workforce.
Why Engagement Matters in Outsourcing
Engaged employees perform better, stay longer, and create better experiences for the clients they serve. In an outsourcing context, engagement is particularly important because outsourced staff can sometimes feel caught between two employers — belonging fully to neither. Bestcare counteracts this by maintaining a deliberate, ongoing dialogue with our outsourced workforce.
How We Gather Feedback
Regular Check-In Calls Bestcare’s HR team conducts regular check-in calls or visits with outsourced employees — particularly in the first three months of a new placement. These conversations cover how the employee is settling in, whether expectations have been met, and whether any issues need to be addressed.
Periodic Pulse Surveys Bestcare administers short, anonymous pulse surveys to outsourced staff on a quarterly or bi-annual basis. These surveys cover satisfaction with working conditions, clarity of role expectations, quality of management at the client site, and whether the employee feels valued and supported.
Survey results are analysed by Bestcare and used to identify trends, flag problematic client environments, and inform our engagement strategy.
Exit Surveys As covered in our exit interview process, departing employees provide structured feedback on their experience. This is one of the richest sources of honest insight we collect.
Using Feedback to Drive Change
Feedback gathered from employee surveys is not filed and forgotten. Bestcare uses it to have structured conversations with clients about workplace conditions, to refine our own support and communication practices, and to improve the briefings we provide to incoming outsourced staff.
“An employee who feels heard is an employee who stays. We ask our staff how they are doing because we genuinely care — and because the answers help us build better placements, better partnerships, and a better organisation.”
— The Director and Team, Bestcare Manpower Services
Employee surveys and engagement feedback are cornerstones of Bestcare Manpower Services’ workforce management approach. By systematically listening to our outsourced staff, we continuously improve the quality of every placement — for the employee, the client, and Bestcare.
